HOTEL ROSEGGLETSCHER

If you have half a day in Pontresina, or the weather is too bad to go higher this walk is an ideal outing.  We walked up the path through the forest taking 1h 45m and returned by the lane in 1h 15m.

From the hotel there were views of the Piz Roseg and glacier, although not as clear as later in the week. One speciality of this valley is the horse drawn omnibus service, which is even found in the railway timetable.
